So sad to see all these poor reviews. This guy is amazing. I’m new to California, and have had my bike looked at by him several times. I ran a flat on my back tire, and he took the time to show me how to change it. I went for a ride today, and ended up getting a flat on the front. I tried to remember exactly what I was taught, though it took me a while. I was able to change out the inner tube. When I went to put the air in my tire, my CO2 inflator was empty! So I’m stuck on the side of the road wondering how I’m going to get home, and a fellow cyclist comes to my rescue! Low and behold it was him! He was on a ride himself and saw an amateur stranded cyclist and came by to help. He inspected my tire, and said everything looked good. He then gave me the only CO2 inflator he had. He has been nothing but helpful, and it was so kind of him to help me out. I don’t think this man gets the recognition that he needs. Don’t listen to these reviews. Try Brentwood Bike Co. out, and you be the judge!
Tried to get service in my Optima Recumbent. Staff kept gabbing to another customer. Didn't acknowledge me for at least 10 min. When he finally acknowledge me I asked if he could do a complete tune up on the bike. He kinda stuttered and said he couldn't work on it. He looked dumbfounded. Come on people - it'the same components on a road / mountain bike. Obviously, he doesn't work on bikes much. I was irritated at his customer service skills.

Wasn't the nicest of "first impression". Didn't realize they moved over a few doors from the last spot (that anytime fitness now has taken over) and trying to laugh with the guy trying to make conversation: "didn't know you guys moved" "we've been here for three years".. (thinking in my head not really this spot but ok!? maybe be fake laugh at least "oh yeah we were over there just moved a few months ago [or however long it's been]) I was the only one laughing. Beside that every answer I got was short and he wouldn't make eye contact, he was focused outside and not in the questions I was asking. I can't say I'd come back with my bike questions but the 3 stars because he actually helped fix my bike in maybe 15 min (tube, quick walk around check on the brakes, chain, added a little lube, new basket and pedals). Way to go on that.
