Wedding here. The service was good and the terrace room was very nice - if not a bit warm, without AC. Food was excellent for a buffet cater. The fresh mozzarella salad was fantastic. Peter, the owner, was a bit stodgy, but he relaxed a bit later. Bartender poured nicely!
We had a birthday dinner here for our oldest daughter and her friends. The food was outstanding and the service was good. If you're able to make it for the early bird menu the prices are great.
I usually really enjoy Sweeney's but tonight was the opposite. We were told 20 minute wait for a party of 3 and we waited 30. No big deal. I get it. But once we were seated we waited for 10 minutes without anything. Tables seated after us were getting their drinks already. We got up and left. Told the owner why and he didn't even try to keep us as guests.
Great service, our reservation for a large party went through without a hitch. We had great, fresh, in house made food and no rush. Delicious appetizer through the desert.
Great food and service. A little on the pricey side but worth it. I highly recommend if you're an Italian food lover.
